Automated blog spam is getting weirder

When we get emails such as the one I got in my inbox we can surely be forgiven for believing that there might actually be a human at the other end. Not a sane human, obviously, but a totally hatstand wall licker who has been given web access as part of their therapy. Here is what arrived this morning…

“Great beat ! I would like to apprentice even as you amend your site, how could i subscribe for a blog web site? The account aided me a acceptable deal. I were a little bit acquainted of this your broadcast provided vivid clear idea.”

Of course we know it is just some software replacing words in what was probably once a sensible sentence. I love the way the English language allows us to have a dozen or so words for any one idea, and spam like this highlights just how hard it is for dumb systems to produce even passably realistic spam. however their ability to mimic lunacy is getting quite impressive.
