After months of searching I seem to have found a stand alone responsive slider that actually works well
Soliloquy Lite is the only responsive wordpress slider plugin of about a dozen I have tested that doesn’t produce huge formatting errors for me at certain screen resolutions.
If you are looking for a basic free slider for your wordpress site that looks great, I am happy to say that (for me at least) Soliloquy Lite works beautifully.
You can place a slider with shortcodes or embed into a template. You have full control of change speed, animation speed and slider size.
This morning I am a happy wordpress developer. I am running Version 1.4.4 on current WP release.
(Don’t forget to upgrade WordPress each time a new release comes out.
