Information Searches
- Every day there are more than a billion searches on Google for information. (Google data, September 2010)

Ecommerce
- 83% of UK online shoppers use search engines to research a purchase. (eMarketer, November 2010)
- Over 2/3 of UK consumers ages 14 and older (roughly 26 million people) bought goods, travel or other services online at least once per month in 2010. (eMarketer, November 2010)
- 37%, more than one in three, have bought an item they saw advertised on YouTube. (Entertainment Media Research, October 2010)
